Nature and Plants Coloring Pages

By Zen Vibes Editors · Published

Nature is the calmest corner of the site. The pages here are gardens, flowers, and outdoor scenes with no characters and nothing that needs explaining, which makes them the usual pick for quiet time, waiting rooms, and adults who color to unwind.

Choose a group below, then a collection. Nature collections cover the widest range of difficulty on the site: the same subject appears as a single bold bloom for a preschooler and, a few pages later, as a dense garden scene or an all-over pattern for an adult with fine-tip pens. Check the difficulty label on each preview before you print for a young child.

Quick calm-down break for a small child: a single flower or a simple weather page, colored in one or two colors, finished in five minutes. Rainy afternoon for a seven-year-old: a garden row or a watering-can scene, with enough separate objects to keep going for a while. Half an hour for an adult: the pattern pages and the bouquet scenes at the end of each collection, on cardstock, with colored pencils.

Two shades per petal or leaf (a light one toward the center, a darker one at the edge) is the single trick that makes any of these pages look finished.
