Animals are the easiest place to start with color by number, because the shapes are big and the colors are forgiving: a green dinosaur or a brown bear looks right whether the crayon is dark or light. Dinosaurs come first here, since they are the animal children ask for most and the one where nobody can say you got the color wrong.
Within a set the pages run from a single creature with four or five colors up to full scenes with a dozen: a long-neck reaching into a tree, a family at the nest, a whole valley with a volcano smoking in the background. Each one shows its finished picture too, so you know what you are printing.

The keys use natural colors where an animal has one and take liberties where nobody knows. Kids who want a purple dinosaur can ignore the key; the numbers still show them where one area ends and the next begins, which is most of the help anyway.
